Background:

The U12 programme develops young players  through training sessions, games at our community Sunday League, and opportunities to participate in multiple tournaments. We support our players with regular swimming to build stamina and confidence.

For the u12 players the focus is fun, team work and foundational water polo skills. The clubs u12 program has been the starting point for many of our current international and professional players.

    We accept players into our u12 programe throughout the year. If your child would like to come and give it a go, please contact the U12 Co-ordinator u12@hcwaterpolo.co.nz

    Under 12 Tournaments

    Mountfort Park Tournament, 31 May - 2 June (Kings Birthday weekend)

    Jelly Belly Tournament, 20-22 June Auckland (Matariki weekend)

    u12 Future Stars Water Polo Festival, 25-27 October, Hamilton

    Some of these tournaments and events are yet to be confirmed. We will update the U12 page as this happens.

    Tournament Fees

    • Additional costs apply if your child wishes to play in these tournaments. 
    • A tournament fee is payable for each event. This fee covers the team entry fee and a contribution toward coaching expenses.
